Our history The group has been around since the 1980s and started in Meadowvale as a mixed community choir under the direction of Earl Nelham. Later it became a ladies group under the name The Earl Nelham Singers. Annual spring concerts were usually performed in the hall of the Cooksville United Church. In 1999, we began to perform at the Royal Bank Theater in the Living Arts Centre, Mississauga. Following Earl Nelham’s retirement in 2004, we hired Danny McErlain to be our director and renamed ourselves The Ambiance Singers. |
